One Laptop Per Child
One Laptop Per Child is a program that is trying to help children in underdeveloped countries have access to a computer. In order to accomplish the goal of providing a laptop for each child they have developed a program that allows a child to get a computer every time you buy a children’s laptop. If you participated in the give one get one program your computer that you gave to a child was sent to Afghanistan, Cambodia, Haiti, Mongolia or Rwanda. The One Laptop Per Child organization works with communities that receive the laptops to make sure they have the infrastructure and technology to support the use of the computers.
